The autumn harvest from hillside walks. Wild roses grow everywhere and the hips are ready for picking. I always tuck an empty bag into my pack and spend some time picking nature's harvest of Vit.C rich rosehips. My grandmother always had a pot of rosehip tea ready and the sweet fragrance is a lovely reminder of the spring roses.
On this property on Spencer Hill, Grand Forks, B.C. are piles of rocks like this from land clearing. One wonders what they grew here. The land is sandy and hot. So much potential for more farmland.
I started painting in 2003 and in 2012 began blogging and following the daily painting movement. I haven't kept up daily, but do painting most days. Most paintings are for sale. See the contact and sales page for more info. Thanks for visiting my blog. Sign up for updates by email.
